[UPDATE] PHOTOS HAVE BEEN LINKED TO THE BETTER RESOLUTION IMAGES + A NEW FILM WALLPAPER (Click to view the full size).
Entertainment Weekly (EW) has got its hands on three exclusive photos from "The Twilight Saga: New Moon". These pictures, which take the focus on Kristen Stewart's Bella, are the first official images coming out of this "Twilight" sequel following the unveiling of the wolf pack and the movie's official poster. "New Moon," the second movie adapted from Stephenie Meyer's novels, is shooting in Vancouver, Canada, instead of Oregon; fans are now showing up in droves; and director Chris Weitz (The Golden Compass) has taken the reins. In the movie, Bella (Stewart) has been abandoned by her vampire love, Edward (Robert Pattinson), but she hears his voice in her thoughts, even as she finds herself drawn to her friend Jacob (Taylor Lautner).

Two of the photos are captures from some of the film's scenes. Like the photo above which shown Bella and her vampire lover, Edward Cullen, in a near-kiss scene. One of director Weitz's creative challenges is Edward's long absence in the novel: ''Rob was the first guy to say to me, 'You know, you don't really need to have too much of me in this film.' I don't want him too present, so his apparition will be a subtle, flitting effect — clearly a reflection of Bella's will and desire to see him.''

The other one and you can check it after the break below shows the mortal beauty and mysterious vampire Laurent. "I'm telling Bella not to be fearful of death. It's inevitable and painless," says Edi Gathegi, who returns in "New Moon" as Laurent. "He was bad in Twilight, but still had some compassion. Let's just say he's not conflicted anymore." Gathegi added.

The last photo is a set photo wherein Stewart is shooting the Bella's 18th birthday party scene. In the picture, Bella has been thrown against a rose-covered table by Edward to protect her from Jasper. "The whole cast is reading the book and wanting to get it right," director Chris Weitz explained about the particular scene, as quoted by EW. "They want to deliver on the promise these books make to the readers."
