Fantastic Mr. Fox in its Full Length Theatrical Trailer
>> 30 Sep 2009
Wes Anderson, who has previously directed such 'serious' films as "The Royal Tenenbaums" and "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou," is finally choosing to direct an animation that adapted from Roald Dahl’s "Fantastic Mr. Fox" (Dahl is probably best known for "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" and "James and the Giant Peach"). Now, a brand new full-length trailer for this upcoming Wes Anderson’s work has just debuted online. The first trailer to "The Fantastic Mr. Fox" was met with mixed reviews, as some loved the aesthetic side and some found it quite distracting. How about this second? It surely looks slightly better than the first one. Maybe because there are some very interesting quotes used in this. Let's check the trailer out after the jump.
In the film, Mr. and Mrs. Fox (George Clooney and Meryl Streep) live an idyllic home life with their son Ash (Jason Schwartzman) and visiting young nephew Kristopherson (Eric Anderson). But after 12 years, the bucolic existence proves too much for Mr Fox's wild animal instincts. Soon he slips back into his old ways as a sneaky chicken thief and in doing so, endangers not only his beloved family, but the whole animal community. Trapped underground and with not enough food to go around, the animals band together to fight against the evil Farmers - Boggis, Bunce and Bean - who are determined to capture the audacious, fantastic Mr. Fox at any cost.
Scheduled to open the 53rd Times BFI London Film Festival on October 14, the movie is set to open wide in the U.S. November 13. Other stars who also contributing for the characters' voices are Bill Murray, Owen Wilson, Adrien Brody and Willem Dafoe.

although I was sad when Cate Blanchett left the project due to other engagements, I can't wait to hear Meryl Streep's voice in this movie.
