Latest Political Actioner “The Green Zone” Trailer

>> Oct 28, 2009

Universal will be bringing “Green Zone”, the film which reunites Matt Damon (Jason Bourne) with director Paul Greengrass (The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum), to theaters on March 12th, 2010 after delaying the release for a few months. Now, to promote the film, they had published the first trailer for the semi-adaptation flick of Rajiv Chandrasekaran’s book “Imperial Life in the Emerald City: Inside Iraq’s Green Zone.” So far, the preview looks very Bourne-esque with all of the Greengrass’ quick and shaky camera cuts. But it also reveals a ton of anticipated actions in the film. While films about Iraq war never seem to do well and audiences are getting pretty sick of those flicks, but I just hope that “Green Zone” may change all of that and do well when it hits theaters next March. Check the trailer now by clicking read more below.

In “Green Zone”, Damon stars as Chief Warrant Officer Roy Miller, a rogue U.S. Army officer who is part of this initial raids on all the sites where weapons of mass destruction are supposedly stored, and he notices that each place they hit, the intelligence they were given does not match the physical evidence they find. Determined to figure out where these reports are coming from, his character steps outside the system and very quickly finds himself in over his head.
