Hilarious Trailer of Soderbergh's New Film "The Informant"

Warner Bros. Pictures has released the trailer for the upcoming Steven Soderbergh's directed dark comedy thriller "The Informant". The film was based on the 2000 nonfiction book by journalist Kurt Eichenwald with the same name that disclosed price-fixing in the agri-business industry. Matt Damon is in the main cast as Mark Whitacre, an executive who works with the FBI to blow the whistle on his corrupt employers and falls prey to his own fraudulent dealings and a wicked bi-polar disorder. As Soderbergh's last industry expose, “Erin Brockovich,” was one of his best, anticipation is high that he will do that again with this new project. Now, let's check the trailer right after the break below.

Mark Whitacre (Damon), a rising star at Decatur’s Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) in the early 1990s who wound up blowing the whistle on the company’s price-fixing tactics. One night in early November 1992, the high-ranking ADM executive confessed to FBI agent Brian Shepard (Scott Bakula) that ADM executives — including Whitacre himself — had routinely met with competitors to fix the price of lysine, a food additive. As the highest-ranked executive to ever turn whistleblower in US history, Whitacre secretly gathered hundreds of hours of video and audio over several years to present to the FBI.
