Beware With The Attack of Piranha 3-D Trailer

Since last December, actually this trailer for the 3D remake of "Piranha" has been playing in front of the highest grossing film of all time "Avatar", but it is only now that it has officially been released online. I wonder if “Piranha 3-D” actually has anything new or interesting to offer except its costly 3D feature. Check out the trailer after the jump and tell what you think about it. The 1978 film “Piranha”, produced by Roger Corman and directed by Joe Dante, is set to be released on DVD and Blu-Ray on the 3rd of August this year, the same month the remake of the film hits theatres.

Plot: After a sudden underwater tremor sets free scores of the prehistoric man-eating fish, an unlikely group of strangers must band together to stop themselves from becoming fish food for the area's new razor-toothed residents. But our heroine (Elisabeth Shue) is seriously outnumbered, and with only one chance to save the lake and her family from totally being devoured, she must risk everything to destroy the aquatic carnivores herself.
Directed by Alexandre Aja (The Hills Have Eyes, Mirrors), this killer fish film has scheduled to hit theaters on August 27th.
