"Step Up 3-D" Got Its Dimensional Dance Trailer

>> Apr 6, 2010

So you think you can dance in 3D? "Step Up" think it can. Jon Chu’s "Step Up 3-D" is the third film in the dance flick franchise but “the first dance film shot in 3-D.” It will hit theaters in August 2010 and after the jump is the trailer which like every other trailer for a 3D spectacle, it promises to throw every stuff rapidly at your face, only now with glowing, Tron-like suits to boot.

Instead the dance numbers look cooler and yes you must use your big glasses again to watch this, the story is still like anything we've seen many many time before, especially if you're a fans of this thing. There's a guy and a girl, and they team up to dance. There's a big battle, and some mean dancers trying to go for the crown. There's quick romance, fights and... zzzzzzzz.
One of the film's stars, Stephen "Twitch" Boss of "So You Think You Can Dance" fame, will be using his dance talents in the movie alongside up-and-comers Adam G. Sevani, Harry Shum Jr. and Ally Maki. "There's going to be great dancing," Boss said. "Amazing, amazing dancing ... dope battles, and the 3-D effects — I have to tell you, I've seen a little bit of it and you're gonna be blown away."

I don't know whether I should admit it or not, but I actually love dance movies :) Those movies are always uplifting and optimistic, and have nice music, and they make you shake your hips. I adore watching AMERICA'S BEST DANCE CREW on MTV :)And, off course, I loved the first STEP UP with Channing Tatum and his darling Jenna Dewan.
