It's finally here, the official full length trailer for Sngmoo Lee's "The Warrior's Way". Shot in late 2007 in New Zealand and has been in post-production for a few years, the film originally called "Laundry Warrior" and was both written and directed by first-time Korean filmmaker Sngmoo Lee, who is making his directing debut after teaching for five years at the New York Film School, will finally be bringing to theaters everywhere on December 3rd by Relativity Media. Produced by Oscar winning Lord of the Rings producer Barrie M. Osborne with a budget of around $47 million, "The Warrior's Way" stars Kate Bosworth, Danny Huston, Geoffrey Rush and one of the most famous actor in South Korea, Jang Dong-gun as Yang. The story is about an Asian warrior played by Jang, who is forced to hide in a small town in the American badlands. He meets the town drunk played by Rush, and a circus knife thrower played by Bosworth, both of whom have powerful secrets.

Sngmoo Lee has studied five years at the New York Film School.. and it shows. Except the fact it looks a bit American-ish, this trailer is hugely impressive! But form a commercial point of view, I understand why they've decided to put a foreign actors in this Korean flick. ;) It looks expensive, it's stylish and absolutely stunning. No one can top Zhang Yimou's visuals though :) :P
