High-Res Three New "Deathly Hallows" Character Posters (UPDATED)
>> Oct 1, 2010
UPDATE: Another new poster featuring three central characters urgently dashing through the woods on their mission to discover and destroy the secret to Voldemort’s immortality has also released online.
Warner Bros. has just sent over three hi-res posters promoting the upcoming November 19 release of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" and they feature the film's three leads Harry (Daniel Radcliffe), Hermione (Emma Watson) and Ron (Rupert Grint) looking worn-out and grimy, but determined, as they lift their magic wands and prepare for battle. The Tagline "Nowhere Is Safe" inscribed across each poster, it's clear that the dark lord Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes) will stop at nothing, even sending the Death Eaters to the land of the Muggles, to stop the three young magicians from finding the Horcruxes, which have the authority to strip him of his immortality and end his supremacy of terror forever. Based on J.K. Rowling's last "Harry Potter" novel, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" will be made into two movies. "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I" is due for November 19, 2010 release in both U.S. and U.K., whereas "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II" is slated to be premiered on July 15, 2011.
The first "Deathly Hallows" installment finds young wizards struggling to find their way in the Muggle (human) world, with their own lives in the balance and the fate of the magical realm in their hands. Voldemort’s power is growing stronger. He now has control over the Ministry of Magic and Hogwarts. Harry, Ron, and Hermione decide to finish Dumbledore’s work and find the rest of the Horcruxes to defeat the Dark Lord. But little hope remains for them, so everything they do must go as planned. David Yates, who directed the last two installments, will finish the franchise by helming both parts of "Deathly Hallows."
